Better Protecting our fellow firefighters since 1963.

In 1958, an attempt was made to organize the Fire Police within Saratoga County. But, it was not until 1963 that the association, as we know it, was formed. Along with aid from the VFPASNY's attorney, Jerome Kornfeld, out association was incorporated this was May 22, 1968. The main purposes are to promote fire Police and their needs, to ensure uniform fire Police training, to coordinate fire Police activities, to provide support for one another, and to support legislation of value to the the fire Police along with their safety. The membership currently consists of over one hundred active members from the fire police squads within the county. We conduct six meetings a year, (in the months of January, March, May, July, September and November). All meetings start at 7:00 pm with the exception of the July meeting which is combined with our picnic. Any other time changes are noted on the meeting schedule.  Meetings will be held on the third Tuesday or Wednesday as close to possible to accomidate the host company.
